NEW for 2025 – Guidelines for Incorporating Generative AI in Awards Entries

We recognise many companies have adopted Gen AI within the Performance Marketing industry. We don’t discourage it’s use, however to ensure transparency, please follow these guidelines:

1. Using Gen AI in Campaigns

Disclosure Requirement: If Gen AI tools were utilised in the planning and execution of your campaign, this must be explicitly declared in your entry. Provide clear context on:

Judging Impact: Disclosure won’t affect your score but ensures transparent evaluation.

2. Using Gen AI in Campaigns

Declaration: If Gen AI helped craft your entry (e.g., drafting, analysis, or wording), tick the relevant box during submission and explain:

Judging Impact: Transparency in AI use will not lower your score.

Disclosure: We have used ChatGPT to assist us with the initial formation of these guidelines!

Judging Process and Writing Your Entry

Our panel of judges will carefully review each submission against the provided judging criteria.

Criteria differs between categories, therefore be sure to check the first page of the entry form you are entering for clarity.

Judges typically review between one and four categories each after a careful review of conflicts of interests.

Scores are collated, challenged and discussed with groups of judges moderated by our content team at the Judging Day.

After much deliberation, each category will be awarded a Gold, and then if applicable Silver & Bronze. 

We reserve the right to reallocate your entry if we feel an alternative category is more suitable or the category falls short of entries that year. We will inform you if this is the case.

Industry Choice Awards

Industry Choice Awards will be voted by the judges and then the shortlist will be announced for the industry vote. The overall scores will be collated to award the winner.

The following category will be available for submissions:

Networks and Publishers will have to complete a standard entry form for the judges to judge and then shortlist. Voting will open on the same day as the shortlist is announced and closed 1 week after. Companies entering will be notified of the public voting dates with as much notice as possible to allow companies to prepare for their promotional campaigns. Incentivised campaigns are strictly prohibited.

  1. Who can enter?

    The Global Performance Marketing Awards are open to agencies, brands, retailers, vendors, platforms, creators and technology partners.

  2. What is the eligibility period for the entries?

    Entries must be for work conducted between 1st January 2024 and Last Chance Deadline 9th July 2025. Some of the work must have occurred during this time, but it does not necessarily need to have been started or completed during this eligibility period.

  3. I submitted my entry at a previous deadline, can I change my entry at a later time?

    Yes, you can edit your entry however you will be charged the price difference on re-submission.

  4. What if my entry isnt paid for before judging starts?

    Unfortunately, if payments are not received for an entry it will be withdrawn from the judging process. Visa, Mastercard and AMEX are all accepted.

  5. Do I have to submit my entry when I register?

    No you don’t have to. You can save your entry as a draft and return to it at a later date.

  6. Where can I view the Judging and Category Criteria?

    You can review all category descriptions and judging criteria via this Google spreadsheet.
  7. Can I submit an old campaign from a previous year?

    Unfortunately, any campaigns that did not take place within the eligibility period will not be accepted into the awards.
